I've been scanning old photos, and I've come upon pictures of the Barbie doll clothes I sewed for Hester and Lydia. I gave them to the girls for their June birthdays in 1997. Hester was 8; Lydia was 6. Not the best quality of photos... but fun to look at, nonetheless.

Findings
In cleaning and sorting through boxes stored in cubbyholes, I came upon one of my first old dolls, circa 1961 or so. It's soft rubber, and still in good condition. It's a drink-and-wet doll, and it used to squeak. I see no name on it anywhere. Can anyone give me any information about it?
Looks like I need to make some doll clothes!

The nightgown for the 'My Life As' doll is done. It's for Emma's tenth birthday, February 8th.
I got the bunny slippers on eBay -- they came all the way from China.
This little Ty pup is Victoria's.

September 27, 2014 -- Paper Dolls of Fabric -- All Done!
This evening, I finished trimming all the little doll
clothes, which had been pressed onto backs of muslin using Pellon EZ-Steam II,
a double-sided fusible. I glued small
Velcro squares onto the backs with Aleene's Jewel-It glue, which will continue
to adhere stronger for 28 days.
Tomorrow, I will put dolls and clothes into a big box, and
take it to my sister! She plans to give
them to granddaughters and/or great-granddaughters.
